i want to buy thiss 89 camaro rs it is a 5 speed the man selling tells me thats rare he says it runs and drives fine its fast and everything but the only problem is 3 minutes into idleing it stalls to the point where I have to restart it I would please like your help he tells me he doesnt know why it does this what do you think is wrong and is it worth buying as a daily driver with 2 kids in the back seat? Thank you

Without knowing the milage, the car probably could use a tune up. If it sat for some time, the fuel filter might need changing. When it shuts off does it restart with no problems? Have you had a chance to drive it? Most cars classic or not most need some tlc. Does it come with any thing saying when it was serviced? If the car runs good and the clutch feels good, it is up to you.
