I have been tracing this problem for a long time now. New battery, new alternator cleaned major connections but still a problem. Starts, all gauges flash and then dies, nothing, blacks out. Wait, wiggle battery positve, comes back on and then starts like nothing is wrong. Cleaned connections on +, tighen terminal fine for a while then does it again. Sometiimes flashes gauges when driving on a bumpy dirt road.

Any ideas where this loose connection is?

Replace the battery cables. Check the main power connection at the under hood box as well.
The cables get corroded inside the insulation and cause intermittent connections.
