I earlier gave the wrong RPM info. Sorry! My '01 Blazer starts fine and idles fine around 500 rpm. When I shift to reverse/drive, turn steering wheel. Its stalls. There is no other performance problem as long as I keep my foot on the gas. Stop at a light or slow to turn and it stalls. This is now happening all of the time. I have replaced the fuel filter but still same problem. There are no check/service engine lights showing up but they DO work. I am good at working on cars but recently lost all tools books and auto related equipment when my workshop was flooded and nothing was salvagable and I honestly dont have $280 for a fuel pump. PLEEEEEASE HELP! Thanks!

I think I remember this case, I remember saying. Check the idle air control valve, it could be dirty or need to be replaced, and to clean the throttle body and you should be good.
