2000 Chevy Blazer noise in front right wheel

I have a loud noise in my front right wheel when traveling at 25 mph and greater. The blazer does not seem to shimmy or shake. What do you think is the problem.

is it safe to drive?

You may have a bad wheel bearing or the tire itself have have an issue. And depending on exactly how bad they are, I would have it checked out before I would continue to drive it.
