Hi, I have several symptoms going on with my Blazer. It started bucking and jerking like it was time to shift when it wasn't time, and then going down the road at 70 mph. I got the transmission fluid and filter changed and it still does it. They thought it might be the band then. However the service engine light came on now and computer says torque converter. It doesn't do the bucking and jerking so much now but I can push the accelerator to the floor sometimes and it just barely goes. Is this how it would act if it was the torque converter? The check engine lights goes on and off.
Thanks
Nancy

Get the codes read. Many part stores will do this for free, and post the codes here.

Hi Nancy, It does not sound like a transmission problem to me is sounds like the engine is misfiring, I would do a full tune up and throttle body service, spark plugs, cap rotor and spark plug wires. here is a guide to help you fix it.
