1996 Chevy Blazer RPM issues

I own a 1997 chevy blazer and I had the same problem it turns out that my fuel pump was bad and had to be replaced. This does not surprise me because I have researced that this vehical had one of the worst fuel sytems gm ever made. Im very sorry if it is your pump hope that this helps! Or it could also be but im not 100% on this I would also check your coil pack as well. Also I would first get a fuel preesure gage and check your pressure it should be 60 to 65 lbs no lower than 55 it will cause it to run like this hope this helps.
