One year ago our fuel pump went out I repalced it got it running good soon afterwards my wife was going to work and the blazer stoped working she said the moter just lost power and stalls out and a big puff of blue smoke out of the tail pip. I replaced the central sequential fuel injection body also called the spider with a new complet unit. I got the spider at auto zone for 300 the only diffrence form the old one is the injectors are at the end of the poppets instead of in the meter body itself. I instaled it I got the moter to start but it stalls out shotly afterwards like it is running out of gas. I have a fuel presure gage on the fuel intake it read 62 when key is on then when moter starts it drops to 53 and runs ok about 5 secounds the the presure goes up to 62 the moter stalls out like it is runing out of gas but ther is gas present. I can turn the key off then right back to start the moter starts right back up runs about 5 secounds psi goes up to 60 stall out. It does this the exate way every time even if I try this 10 times in a row.

Has the security light come on? Have you checked the fuel pressure regulator?

I ues a pair of plyers to cremp the return fuel line started the moter and found that my fuel pump was not putting out enought psi presure to keep it running. If it remained high them it would have been the fuel regulater. We repace the fuel pump only a year and 3 mouths ago but we bought the chep one made by airtec I belive. Were going to buy the one the came out on the blazer from the factory maybe we will have better luck next go around.

It sounds like you have the same type of luck as I do. If you rechecked the pressure and it's low and you're sure the fuel filter isn't plugged, it sounds like you need another one. I would recommend getting a good one because they are a pain to replace.

Let me know if you have other questions.
