My 94 S-10 Blazer started chugging when I came to a stop yesterday. When it idles it just chugs and when I'm driving it and I come to a light I put it in neutral and it chugs a little less. Also my check engine light comes on and I get this funny smell from the engine. It came out of nowhere. Someone said it could be the catilac converter or something that is clogged. Does this sound right? Any ideas?

When was the last time you gave it a tune-up?

CEL being On try and retrieve code/s from the computer by jumping A to B on the DLC -You have a problem within the engine management system that's causing the light to come on.
