Hi there. I have been advised by my local garage to underseal my truck.
I booked in with a company who say they use an elasticated bichumin underseal. BUT I have been reading on the internet that bicumin sealants are a serious problem after a few years with peeling and holding water. Is this just the old method that's a problem? Is the modern bicumin product better or will I still look forward to hidden rust issues?
Many thanks.

Your truck is already 20 years old so I really wouldn't worry about rust unless you are restoring the thing. The name brand LINE-X is one of the better products and you can make it the same color as your vehicle if you want but it's more exspensive. Most of the mechanics don't know about the sealantsand alot of it is the same, some are rubber, some are differnet chemicals. Depends on how much money you want to spend on it and how well you want it protected.
