1996 Chevy Beretta Purge Solenoid

I am having trouble locating my Canister Purge Solenoid on my 1996 Chevy Beretta. The emmisions flow chart shows that it is in the back of the engine which seems like it will be very difficult to get to. Also, would it be better if i had a mechanic replace it for me?

Hello ctmyers20 To help you locate the purge control solenoid, open the hood, on the passenger side close to the tire, there is a canister. its look like this:

follow the vacuum line I marked, it will lead you to the purge solenoid.
