1994 Chevy Beretta 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my speedometer and fuel gage are both darting around. The speedometer will say your going from 20-120 in a matter of seconds. Fuel gage will go from E -F and back and fourth. What is the cause for this?

Hi:
To me it sounds like a bad ground. I would check the basic things first like the battery ground to the engine and body of the vehicle. If they are ok, it could be a Body Control Module (BCM).
