The Key Remotes Don't Work

I have a 2004 astro chev van, it only has 64,000 miles on it, the problem is that both automatic locks doesn't work anymore with the key remotes. I changed both battery's in the key remotes. But the automatic locks still doesn't work, but it works manually. How do I get the key remotes to work with the Van they worked before?
