I have a 95 Astro, about a week ago it started to lope when it is in park, if you put it in gear it wants to take off (rpms go way up), you have to bare down on the brakes to keep it from going, then if you put it back in park it lopes again. What would cause this? Could it be the ERG? Is there a test for the ERG? Or what else could it be?
