MY ASTRO VAN WHEN YOU TURN SHARP LEFT OR RIGHT WOBBLES SOUNDS ALMOST LIKE A FLAT TIRE. HAD FRONT END ALLIGNMENT DONE NO CHANGE. TOOK TO MECHANIC. TOOK OFF FRONT DRIVE SHAFT AND ORDERED NEW ONE. DROVE FOR 3 DAYS DID NOT DO IT WITH DRIVE SHAFT OUT PUT NEW ONE IN AND IT'S DOING IT AGAIN. HE SAID IT COULD BE AXLE SHAFTS. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS BEFORE I STICK MORE INTO IT WITHOUT A SOLUTION?

Actually, I would have to agree with him. Just make sure they are sure all steering components are tight and in good condition.

THE 2000 TRANFER CASE ON GM MODELS HAD A BULLETIN. STICKY CLUTCHES IN THE TRANSFER CASE. WHEN WHEELS ARE TURNED, THEY ARE TURNING AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS AND (ALL 4 WHEELS) THEREFORE THE CLUTCHES NEED TO SLIP TO ACCOMODATE THIS DIFFERENT WHEEL SPEEDS. TRY NEW AUTOTRAC FLUID WITH 2 SMALL BOTTLES OF LIMITED SLIP ADDITIVE TO HELP THIS CONDITION. IT WORKS FOR ME!
