I just had a tune up done. New sparks plugs, wires and distributor cap, rotor cup and ditributor that holds the cup. Now the van engine light is still on and it is pulsating real bad like it wants to die down and on and off making the backfire noise. Please tell me what is the problem?

Check your Co2 sensor. Take it off and spray it with brake cleaner and dry it well. Or check you vacume lines. Make sure there is no leaks/cracked hoses. Did you have the problem before you had all the wires checked? If not you need to make sure the wires are in the right place. They have diagrams to help just look it up on the internet.
