1993 Chevy Astro head Gasket repair

1993 Chevy Astro 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 187K miles

I have had the head gasket repair jusrt done. On a otherwise smooth running 1993 Astro. Then a friend said- since it is high miles - about 187 K I shouldn't have had it done because I will invariably have a lot of problems now. My question is - what ishould the warranty be? And second. Is it true that now I should expect problems. THis has been a great vano, ther than problems with EGR valve and water pump it has been trouble free. Thank you

The only way it will run rough with the headgasket changed is if the person working on it doesnt know what they were doing and did a piss poor job.

There is no way fixing a problem gonna make it run worse, if you kept it the way it was youd cause more harm then good.
