Engine seems sluggish at times, service light comes on sometimes. How can I recall codes without a code reader?

Look for a black plug under dash near steering may have a cover. Find A & B term upper right take a paper clip jumper. Then key on watch engine light it will blink. So if it blinks twice then pauses and blinks once that is 21.

Will start with code 44 Lean exhaust possible causes
Low fuel pressure
O2 sensor faulty
EGR valve not operating
Faulty MAP sensor
Have fuel pressure checked if good see if vaccum is going to EGR with rpms 2000
Map sensor should be on intake square black box 3 to 4 inch. With vaccum hose see if vaccum is going to it
