Idle air control RPM higher than expected.

Hi,

The idle air control valve is normally responsible for maintaining the engine's idle speed. However, this vehicle doesn't have one. The ECM controls the throttle actuator to maintain the proper idle speed according to engine loads.

What code are you getting?

Hi,

The code indicates the idle speed isn't at a targeted rate. This can be caused by a few things. For example, it could be related to an engine vacuum leak. Also, it could be as serious as the powertrain control module (PCM)

I attached diagnostics below. You will see the abbreviation HDS. That stands for Honda Diagnostic System. You don't need that specific one, but one that can communicate and actuate different things is needed.

Take a look through the directions and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.
