This is the 335d diesel model. Drives excellent except when the light comes on and reduces power. Delete the code and it drives great for another 20-25 miles. The pending codes are in pictures. But when I deleted all the only one that was stored was the one that is alone.

I would fix the first codes and then erase the last code to see if it comes back. The first two codes have to do with the EGR valve stuck open. Here is the location and a video to show you how to check it to confirm the failure. The EGR on your car is electronic so you won't need to work the vacuum diagram like in the video, but you should be able to pour liquid into the valve and it shouldn't leak into the auxiliary port.

Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

So remove it and pour liquid in it and see if it comes out of the other side?

Removed it, all build up, cleaned throttle and EGR and made sure it moves in and out.

Here are some pictures. Hopefully it doesn't have intake valve build up.

Thanks for the images! you can see the buildup of carbon I would clean that off the best you can. This guide can help. I know it's a throttle bore but the process is the same.

Yes, I cleaned all of that. One thing I want to ask. The throttle plate is stopped halfway open, not fully closed like most throttles I have seen. Not sure if this is normal. The first picture I sent earlier shows how it is when installed. I am not opening it with a screwdriver.

Okay, that is fine then, please clean it up and make sure the passages are clear as well both on the valve on where it mounts.

Cleaned everything and put it together. The air filter was also dirty and had lots of leaves, cleaned that, and cleaned MAF sensor. Will see if any codes come back and report back to you. Thanks

No more ERG codes but you drive it 7 miles and reduced power check engine light comes on. So, I deleted it and drives normally, MAF code, how do I test the MAF harness?
