So after a days work, I was headed home and opened a can of soda to help keep me awake, I ended up spilling it and it ended up going into the Emergency Brake compartment. Whenever I got home I got out of the car and pushed both seats up and unscrewed the two screws holding the back side of the center console together. I snapped it out of place and lifted up to see if there was any damage and to my knowledge after feeling around there was not. After I placed the screws back in place. I proceeded to snap the back side back in place only to realize it wont do so and keeps coming undone. What am I doing wrong or did I brake something?

You may have broken a retaining clip, inspect clips for damage.

Okay I will check for damage. One thing though I was not able to fully remove it and so the top was still attached. It is just the four clips that are presently visible. I will look at it more today. Might even send pictures if that will help.

Mhpautos I got it back in, found out that the clips sat in above the opening and all I had to do was lit up the clips and place them in. Thanks for your help!
