Vehicle has a check engine light on codes are P0016, P0131, and P0171.
A few days ago, the vehicle started up but had a very rough engine idle. When I would stop at a light it would shake very badly and lunge forward while my foot was on the brake. I put gas and it moved about a foot forward then stalled. And now it won’t turn on, but it makes a noise like it wants to start but doesn’t turn over. What can be the issue?

The code that concerns me is the P0016 (camshaft position sensor problems) this could be telling us the engine is having a problem, can you please upload a video of the engine cranking over please? Then I can tell for sure if the engine needs to come apart or not. Does the engine sound normal when cranking over? of does the engine not crank over at all?

These guides can help us get started on fixing the problem:

Let us know what happens and please upload videos of the problem.
