Hi,

Is the security light on?

Your engine control module has a disable feature that will get enabled when conditions are met.

Attached are the parameters. Let me know if the light is on. If not, we will need to check for voltage at the starter when the engine is not starting.

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks

Hello and welcome to 2CarPros. Does your vehicle start and then shut down? Or does it not crank over at all? If it starts and shuts down then you have an immobilizer issue. If nothing happens do all the cluster lights come up? If they do then you could have a starter issue? Have the battery tested first and let us know if the battery is good.

Okay. So if it does nothing when the key is turned, we need to know if the security light is on and then when you say good voltage everywhere, does that mean you have proper voltage at the starter when cranking the engine? If you have proper voltage on both the B+ wire and signal wire then the starter should spin. If it is not, then you have a starter issue. However, since it is a new starter, I assume you don't have proper voltage at the starter.

Measure your voltage at the starter and tell me what you have at each wire while cranking the engine. Thanks

Just to clarify, the light blinks even if the key is in or out of the vehicle? Maybe get a video of you trying to start the vehicle so we can see what is happening. Just make sure the security light is in the video so we can see what it is doing. Thanks
