Engine shuts off while driving

When driving it will run fine and then kind of start to sputter and shut off. It won't restart unless I wait half an hour or so. Then starts and runs fine again. It used to shut off when idling for 10 to 15 minutes also but I put a new MAF sensor in. So now it idles fine.

Good morning,

Does it run fine now with no issues?

If it does not, I would get a fuel pressure gauge and attach it to the engine and see if the pressure drops out. It could be a fuel pump. You can rent one at a parts store.


Ignition Switch "on", Fuel Pump Running 48-55 PSI.

I put a new fuel pump in about a year ago.

You still need to test it. It sounds like it is the issue.

Had the codes read and it said 02 sensor bank1 sensor2. Would that cause it to stall?

No, not at all. The rear O2 does nothing but monitor the catalytic converter.
