Car seems to be to accelerated

When driving the car it seems to be to accelerated. Also in idle it seems to be like that. It takes the car a while to shift gears also but it does do that and it also makes big jumps when shifting from park to reverse and drive.

it sounds like the throttle body may be dirty. check for carbon build up around the throttle plate.
