Clearly how well the vehicle was taken care of will make a difference but either of the Toyota's have a much better track record then the Scion. So I would evaluate this by the condition of the vehicle and how well documented the maintenance is on each one. So if you can confirm the maintenance is much better in one then the other, I would go with that one.
If they are about the same then it comes down to preference and which one you like better. Lastly, we clearly want to test drive them not only around the block but on about a 15 mile highway test drive as well. A lot of times issues will not present themselves until they are driven and hot so make sure you evaluate that.
