The ignition switch damaged during an attempted auto theft, how to repair?

The entire place where my key would go got drilled out. What do I replace, and can I bypass the theft system? I don't know if photo upload. Thanks so much Bonnie Osborne.

Nope no image, it takes a while over mobile. Can you still turn the tumbler? When this happens, you need to replace the key lock tumbler. Here are the instructions in the diagrams below you can get a new part from Amazon or Rockauto. Com. If the damage is too severe it's best to get a used column to install. Please re-upload the picture, here are some images below that can help you see what you are in for to fix the problem. Once I see the damage I can tell if you need a used column. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
