Danny I will have to differ with you here. I have seen cruise control on vehicles with manual transmissions. It does not do much more than holding the throttle and bumping it up and down, but it is usable. However, since the car is a manual, and the cruise system is not able to change gears like an auto would, it is nearly useless unless you are traveling at speed, on a long, straight stretch of road with virtually no elevation changes.
As for the original question, you would probably be looking at changing a computer or two, wiring in a switch, adding a cruise control servo, and other such things. Given the uselessness of having cruise on a manual transmission, I would not bother. It would probably be cheaper to buy another car with cruise and trade your current one in.
