2000 Cadillac STS V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1998 cadillac sts northstar engine with the eight digit 9 and i wont to put it in my 2000 cadillac sts with the eight digit 9 if i switch all sensor and valve cover will it work?

I think you have more configuration issues than just sensors and cam covers. The 98 has coil pack, and the 2000 would have coil over. The coil over has an additional hole in the cover for a ground, I am not sure that the head would be machined the same. There may be more specifics that I am not sure of. My best guess is to say it would not be a direct fit, and with the foreseen, and unforseen possibilities, you might go through alot of work and find out it's physically not possible. That is just my guess.
