Steering problem
1994 Cadillac Seville V8 Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 73,000 miles

my power steering hoses popped off while I was driving. They popped off at the power steering FILTER, now when I reconnect the hoses to the filter and pour new fluid in it always breaks at the filter. I have replaced the filter and have gotten new clamps to secure the connection but it still blows off so I am left with no power steering, what should I do? Also, is there a power steering sensor, if so, where is it located and whats the easiest way to get to it

This sounds like your powersteering pumps' pressure regulater is bad. I'm pretty sure that the regulater is inside of the pump so changing the pump is probably the way to go. Some cars have a powersteering sensor, it is usually located on the pump housing itself.

The hoses are psi crimped, and screwed in, if your putting on clamps there not right
