2005 Cadillac Escalade Esv Front Brake Pad removal

I am able to remove the caliper but not able to free the brake pads, does it require the caliper to be disassebled?

No theyjust have to be pryed out. If you go on the site here it goes through how to replace front brake pads. It's on the right under repair.
