There is not a diagnostic repair for tht particular symptom as described, and I have not seen a concern of a similar nature. The first thing I can suggest is to check for any codes in the rear auxiliary climate module. This is going to be rather specific, and a general code reader is not going to access it. Being a dealer technician, I only know of GM tech 2 for this access. There may be aftermarket scan tools that have this capability, I just don't know which ones.
