Hello -
Based off of the information you have said, if it were me I would first check all of the fluids. Next I would change the oil and filter. I would also change the fuel filter. Depending on where it has been sitting, I would look over the engine wiring for any damage just in case rodents etc climbed into the engine area. To me, some may have another opinion, but it would be even better to remove the valve covers and pour a little oil all over the valve area and let it run down inside first. Remember after sitting for so long all of the oil has dripped down from the top of the engine. All of the bearings and surfaces are dry basically from no oil running across them. If you don't want to go to that trouble then at least I would crank the car for just a second without starting the car just to let everything turn. I would do this a couple of times. I would then start the car and let it run for just a second. I would do this a couple of times to get the oil circulating and running over things. Then start it and let it run for a few minutes and do this a couple of times. Then go ahead and let it idle. Remember when you first drive it, the brakes have not been worked either... SO BE CAREFUL and test them several times. Again, take it all really slow. Hope this helps.
