A/C not working (refrigerant pressure good) 96 DeVille

My climate control system will not shift to AUTO. I checked the R134a pressure; it's good. I checked the low pressure switch (disconnected it, jumpered out the connector - no response). What else could be wrong with it? (I will donate to the site for a correct response.) Thank you.

I had this same problem with my 97 seville when I took it in the mechanic just reset the PCM by disconnecting the negative battery for about five minutes.
