Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2001 Cadillac Deville V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Car just had the rotors and brakes changed.
It will not go in reverse or forward. This happened prior to brake rotor being changed. Car was driven for 60 miles then it did it again. The wire going to the hub is severed, everyone says this is not a problem. Could it be something else? Transmission? Wheel hub mounted incorrectly? Curved bracket holding the rotor? Please help.

When you put it in gear, does the engine rev or is there a load on it and the car won't move? As far as the broken wire, it sounds like an ABS sensor wire, and it shouldn't have anything to do with this.
