1999 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Is there an engine, NOT a Northstar Engine, that I can swap on a 1999 Cadillac Deville? How do I locate a Northstar that is not leaking oil, or running hot?

You are pretty much confined to the Northstar. The money you would spend to even consider retrofitting the powerplant would A; exceed the value of the vehicle, and B; exceed the cost of repairing your current engine. That is, if it could even be possible, which I don't believe it could.
