After clearing fault codes, the only thing that shows is 0.7.0. What does it mean? Does it mean fault code 70? Or just that everything is ok? I think I read somewhere that 0.7.0 is the end of the systems check or something like that.

However it IS popping from the exhaust while trying to start (cranks but won't start). Sounds like timiing. I dread it!!

This is all after solving the bad gas/fuel pump issues.

Here'sa what I came up with for the code, Did you check the plugs for gas fouling after the pump problem? Gas in oil? Plug wires to proper plugs?

12 is the code you were thinking about...

well it WAS running before. She said , after putting REG gas in instead of PREM, it ran rough on the way home. I figured she must've actually ran out the tank and got air in the fuel line while at the gas station. It hasn't started since she parked it. Since nothing (that I know of) has been done, the plug wires should be on the right plugs.

But it sounds like it's jumped timing somehow.

I'm having to go on only what this friend tells me and I'm thinking something else happened that she hasn't told me.

if you run through the codes and thats all that pops up there are no codes,, try scuriting carb cleaner down the throttle plates to see if it starts
