I have the spare key but not the chip key. I need to know how to bypass the security using a resistor.

Unfortunately, this system is different than the pellet resistor key system.

This key actually has a chip in it that is coded, and you need that code in order to get the system to turn off.

The only two options that we have at this point are to replace the keys or get a PCM that has the theft system deleted on it. If the PCM is not looking for the specific code to start, then you will be able to start the engine with any key that is cut to the ignition.

I am attaching the process for adding a key but if you don't have any keys then you are going to need a scan tool. However, I would call a locksmith because they can come to you and are cheaper than a shop.
