i was getting a pumping noise each time i hit bump in the road then one of my coil spring broke while driving. after inspection i notice both coil spring was broken at the back and also both shock was bad. so i bought 2 new shocks but did not get new coil spring as it was not available but i manage to get a second hand one that apparently still in good condition. so ive installed the spring and the new shock. now im still getting a hard bumping noise each time a hit a bump when i have load at the back but if im alone im not getting any noise unless i hit a really bad pot hole. so is it that the coil spring is weak and the shock cannot hold the load?

shocks don't hold weight unless you get a coil over one. the springs are probably weak
