Replaced the VSS sensor thinking it would fix the problem. However, it is still the same and having problem shifting also. I was told a transmission pan gasket and filter change. Could help the issue. How would that do anything for gauges? There were no blown fuses I could see. Ever had these issues fellow humans? Could it be the connector for VSS? Also my scan wont show codes it has kinda got me. Please help me. Thanks all

Hello,

I have seen the clusters go bad causing this problem. here is a video of the repair being done on a similar car. Also you may try to unplug the cluster and then plug it back in again it could have a bad connection.

Please run down this guide and report back. Be sure to give your VIN and mileage to the rebuilder so it can be programmed in.
