1996 Buick Roadmaster battery died

hello my battery died in my 96 roadmaster
so replaced battery w/ new battery and replaced battery bolts and replaced one terminal but still the car alarm just goes off and the car wont crank over /turn over alarm goes into lock out mode
i don't have key fob to turn off alarm and last time battery died the guys at pep boys just changed a bolt and said they didn't have to enter any lock out code in any suggestions or answers very much welcomed thanks

Hi pav.., Randy here. I'm only jumping in here because no smart people have responded yet. Try turning the ignition switch to "run" and let it sit for at least 20 minutes. If / when there is a change in the behavior of the "Security" light, turn the ignition switch off, wait a few seconds, then turn it to "Run" again for another 20 minutes. Do this a third time, then turn it off, then try to start it. It may be necessary to put a battery charger on it at the lowest setting.

I know there are variations to my description so I'll gladly defer to others who are certain of the relearn procedure. In the meantime, this will give you somethingto try.
