When the weather gets cold, I cannot move the gear shift lever. The colder it gets, the more difficult it is to move. The shift lever is on the steering wheel column. Summer time, no problem.
In winter, if and when I get the lever moved to drive, for example, the car shifts gears while driving without any problems.
Just can't hardly move the lever.
Any ideas?

I would recommend starting by lubericating the linkage. If you look under the hood on the driver's side, you will see where it comes through the firewall and to the transmission. Try spraying some WD40 on any joints or pivit points and cables.
