Where is the low pressure line on this engine? Is it the big line on the firewall or the small line down by the air cleaner?

Low side is the larger hose, recharge fitting will only fit on the low side the ports are different sizes.

It is located on the accumulator near the fire wall on the passengers side.

Here is a guide that will help you find it.

Please let me know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I have a Buick Regal 1983 2 door coupe with a 3.8 liter carburated engine, 130,000 miles. I need information on the vacuum locations in the engine compartment that handle the air distribution to the ducts in the passenger compartment. I have just recharged the ac system and have good cooling but the distribution between max, normal and bi level is not there. The cooling only come out the defroster and lower air ducts. Also I changed the blower resistor, panel switch but can't seem to get high blower

There is a small vacuum line that goes through the firewall, it is usually hooked to a vacuum resevoir (round ball). High blower speed is a direct connection from switch to blower, check the wiring with a meter to be sure you are getting through from switch to fan
