Car froze up
replaced water pump, new thermostat and now when we put water in, in fire it up and let it idle for 3 to 5 min, check water again and there is no water in radiator, or upper and lower radaitor hoses, and the temp of car rises fast. Where is the water going if its not going into the engine block/oil. There are no obvious leaks where that much water would disapear to. We are stumped please help

Welcome to the forum, not sure what you meant by " froze-up"? My info shows the cooling capacity for your vehicle is around 12 quarts. I'd use antifreeze not water. Is there coolant flow through the radiator? You can take the thermostat out, hook everything up, check coolant low through the radiator, cold engine, the flow should be instant.

I mean that the car sat 3 days with out being ran and the weather here is below freezing and the radiator completely froze, yes it had antifreeze but apperantly not enough.

I see, if it is still froze, take it off, place in warm place. Hope it isn't busted. Hope the passages in the block aren't froze. All I know to do now is try to get everything warmed up, hope the freeze didn't break anything.
