I recently changed the coupling on the supercharger
on my 1997 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. I removed the snout by removing the numerous bolts around the housing. I left the supercharger housing attached to the engine. I added form a gasket to one side of the four mating surfaces. The gearside of the housing and the divider plate to the lobe side of the super charger. After completing the reassembly and starting up the engine stubbled or misfired and surged. After warm up it seams to ge better. The check engine light came on and I had it checked. Code P102 Mass Air Flow Sensor and P300 Engine misfire. I replaced the Mass airflow sensor but still same result. My question. Is it possible that I did not get the form-a-gasket properly applied to the lobe side of the supercharger and that is causing leak in the air fuel mixture causing the surging at low rpm?
Is there another item that you would hved checked.

The mating surfaces of the supercharger &the nose piece are machined. Therefore no gasket materal is required. Ive got a 95 buick park ave. Ultra, I replaced the spacer with one made of billet alum.[No wear] if interested, e mail me at nddunc@yahoo. Com
