Attempted to start car but got nothing. weak horn and batt would not charge, turned on headlights and i hear a slight grinding (small motor sound) under hood on drivers side. the sound continues when charged batt is reconnected and stops when i disconnect. sound is located left of the wiper fluid container. week before i hit a pothole and knocked out power to radio and heating console. replaced fuse but fuse continues to blow. any connection?

WHat I need you to do is check to see if there is a constant draw on the battery. Here is the how to:

If there is a draw, remove one fuse at a time until you hit the circuit that stops the draw. Let me know which one it is.
