1991 Buick Park Avenue car shuts off while Iam driving.

Car shuts off while I am driving, I sit for a few minutes
than starts up like nothing happen a few more miles and it does it again. If the day is not to hot it does it less?

That really sounds like a failing ignition module.

The Opening Poster emailed me.
And said it was the cam position sensor.

Experience with this problem tells me that the Crankshaft Position Sensor is causing the ignition to shut off.
