Intermittant problems are the worst. Essentially you need to do testing when it isn't starting. Your most likely not getting fuel or not getting spark. When it doesn't start you can remove the air duct to the throttle body and spray some carb cleaner in there and then crank it. If it starts, your losing fuel. If it doesn't start, put a spark tester on a plug wire and crank it and se if it flashes or not. If it doesn't flash you may have a problem with the computer that is not allowing spark or fuel to happen.
