Just had work done because it never had work dune before. Car was bucking. It also was shaking and engine light was on. Then it stopped shaking and we thought it was gasoline causing it. The bucking we thought was the spark plugs and filters. After all this work, the problem is still there. Can't tell why or when it is going to happen.

Have you had the computer scanned for codes? If the check engine light was on, there should be a trouble code stored in the computer. It will help direct us to the problem.

Have it scanned at a nationally recognized parts store. Most will do it for free. Let me know what code you find.

After we had the alignment and the ball joint taken care of, we did have the codes checked and three were off and reset. Mechanic thought one of them is closing causing the car to hesitate once in awhile. The reset didn't last long and the hesitation was back maybe never left. The light is still off got the inspection done, and this last venture cost 275. We are done and now need to figure out whether to buy new or used Buick lucerne, element or fusion, and figure out where and who to trust for deals.
