1997 Buick Lesabre Shuts off while running

1997 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1997 Buick that starts and runs then after approximately 5 or 6 miles it just shuts off while I am still driving it. After 10 or 15 minutes when it cools down it will start again, but it seems after it gets hot again it just shuts off while I am driving. I replaced the CAM sensor and the battery because that is what the mechanic said was the problem. I think it may be the fuel pump. Can you please give me your opinion.

Do you have any code's in the computer?It sound's more like a sensor getting hot and failing like a crank shaft sensor.

The code said it was the CAM sensor, but that did not work.I will see if I can get it back on the scanner and check for more codes. Thank you
