Engine Performance problem
1994 Buick Lesabre V8 Two Wheel Drive 10500 miles

My 78 year old mom drives her 1994 Buick LaSabre.
She says at speeds of 50-70 mph it acts as if it wants to stall. It has actually never stalled yet, but this is scaring her. Can you give me advise as to what this might be. If it's not complicated this 54 year old woman will try to save her fixed income.

If it only happens at high speeds, it could be as simple as a fuel filter or the fuel pump. You could check fuel pressure. Here is a how to for checking it. It will require a pressure gauge, but most parts stores will lend or rent them to you.
